4th annual Celebration of Academic Advising
Faculty and P&S academic advisers will be recognized for their efforts. A brief program will begin at 8:15 a.m. Light breakfast will be served at this come-and-go event. Online RSVPs requested by Feb. 6.
P&S Council open forum
"IT Futures," Jim Davis, ISU chief information officer. IT plays a pivotal role at the university, from the classroom technology that extends the reach of the educator, to the largest supercomputer enabling visionary research. Many forward-looking initiatives are under way.
Meeting: Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate represents the general faculty of Iowa State University and participates in shared governance of the University with the administration. Senate meetings are open to the public.

Reception: "Life of Sierra Leone" exhibit
Opening reception for the "Radford Davis: Life of Sierra Leone" exhibit. The photos capture the lives, conditions, and challenges of the people in one of the poorest countries on Earth. Davis is an associate professor of public health in the College of Veterinary Medicine. His passion is documenting our world and its people through photo essays.
