Kids Story Time
This year we've been hosting Kids Story Time every two weeks, from April to September. If you haven't already attended, please join us. Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity. The books, crafts and activities are intended for children ages 2-7 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Faculty Reading and Book Signing
English faculty members Ben Percy (The Wilding, 2010) and David Zimmerman (The Sandbox, 2010) will read from their works and answer questions. Copies of the books will be available for purchase, courtesy of University Book Store. Refreshments will be served.
Responsible animal research: Informational session
"How to Perform Category D and E Searches," with Dr. Mary Sauer, ISU attending veterinarian. She will address federal regulatory requirements regarding pain and distress, and provide tips for completing IACUC application forms. Those interested in attending are asked to email Connie Regenold, Office for Responsible Research.

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences students (mostly juniors and seniors) enrolled this spring in the course Science With Practice (Ag Educ 312) will present research projects they have worked on with a mentor this semester.
Open forum: ISU presidential search
Members of the State Board of Regents will host this event to gather input on leadership priorities and desired qualities in Iowa State's next president. This is a public forum.
