Reception: Biorenewables Art Competition
This 6th annual competition is a collaboration between the Bioeconomy Institute and the Integrated Studio Arts program in the College of Design. Award winners will be announced during a short 4:15 p.m. program.

Retirement reception: Larry Johnson
Larry Johnson, professor of food science and human nutrition and director of the Center for Crops Utilization Research and of the BioCentury Research Farm, is retiring after 30 years of service to the university. A program will begin at 2 p.m.

CEAH Fellowship: Imagining the Prairie, Then and Now
CEAH fellow Matthew Sivils will discuss how the prairie landscape functioned as a challenge to European-American conceptions of the land, while becoming a defining emblem of the American experience. Following the presentation, University Museums assistant curator Adrienne Gennett will provide a tour of Iowa artist Ellen Wagener's landscapes exhibit.

Spring Poster Presentation: University Honors Program
