CEAH Fellowship: Imagining the Prairie, Then and Now
CEAH fellow Matthew Sivils will discuss how the prairie landscape functioned as a challenge to European-American conceptions of the land, while becoming a defining emblem of the American experience. Following the presentation, University Museums assistant curator Adrienne Gennett will provide a tour of Iowa artist Ellen Wagener's landscapes exhibit.

Spring Poster Presentation: University Honors Program
Spring and summer Honors graduates, as well as other Honors students, will be present to answer questions and speak with individuals interested in their capstone projects.

Christensen, the academic adviser for students in the Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies program, is retiring.
Opening reception: 2015 Fashion Show Exhibit
Summer exhibit will feature the first and second place student designs from the spring fashion show.

Sigma Xi banquet
The banquet includes initiation of new members of Sigma Xi, the presentation of the Zaffarano and Karas Awards, and installation of new officers. The retiring president, Dr. Tom Sauer, will present a lecture, "Science and Philosophy: Partners for Global Food Security."
Nepalese Student Association: Candlelight Vigil
Show support for victims of the earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25. Donations boxes will be available.

Retirement Reception: Roger Baer, Mark Engelbrecht and Tim Keller
Joint retirement reception for Roger Baer, professor of graphic design and former chair of the art and design department; Mark Engelbrecht, professor of architecture and dean emeritus of the College of Design; and Tim Keller, professor emeritus and former chair of landscape architecture. A brief program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
