Workshop: Monitoring Student Learning in Blackboard Learn
This workshop is designed to introduce the monitoring functions of your Blackboard Learn course for understanding student learning. You will see a demonstration and become familiar with the benefits and logistics of the Retention Center, early warning system, course reports, item review statuses, item selective releases, Grade Center's smart views and color-coding.

Reception: Women Impacting ISU calendar
The 2014 Women Impacting ISU calendar will be unveiled. The 12 women (four students, eight faculty/staff members) featured on the calendar were chosen by a selection committee based on their achievements in teaching, research, service, administration and various other campus activities. The event is hosted by the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics.
Slavery by Another Name: Documentary & Discussion
In the years following the Civil War, new forms of forced labor in the American South kept thousands of African Americans in bondage until the onset of World War II. This documentary spans 1865 to 1945, uses archival photographs and dramatic re-enactments, and is filmed on location in Alabama and Georgia.
