For a decade, University Museums searched for a pair of larger than life-sized bronze panthers created by Christian Petersen for a Rhode Island estate in the early 1920s. In the summer of 2010, the Panthers were found at Middlebury College in Vermont, and during VEISHEA 2012 they will become a permanent part of ISU's Art on Campus Collection.

Prior to his position at the White House, he worked with USAID, as managing director of the Federal Communications Commission, and in the private sector at Microsoft Corporation.
