Great Plants for Iowa Series: Perennials for Sun
This series will allow participants to develop knowledge of the wide variety of garden plants that grow well in Central Iowa. Covering nearly 500 plants, these 16 classes are spread across several years. Each class focuses on identification, cultural requirements, and the use of the plants in gardens and the broader landscape.
Paper Making Class
Learn to form sheets of handmade paper using pulp prepared from recycled materials.

Kids Story Time
Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity. The books, crafts and activities are intended for children ages two to seven years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Class: Black and White Digital Photography
This is a 4 week course on Wednesdays, July 2, July 9, July 16, and July 23 This course builds on the technical foundations of digital photography, expanding practical skills while also fostering your aesthetic awareness and vision as a photographer. Mark Stoltenberg will help you look at the world in a whole new way as you further explore the tools, techniques and identify the best subject matter to create black and white digital images.

Paint Your Own Pottery: Treasure Boxes
Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. Decorate a small box to store your cookie fortunes, stamp collection, gaming dice, seashells, skeleton keys, or whatever other items you collect and keep.

Youth Activity: Discovery Station
The purpose of Reiman Gardens' discovery stations is to add a fun, informal activity in the Gardens during the summer that relates to the themed garden areas. The discovery stations are family oriented and designed so both youth and adults can participate in the activities.

Third annual concert by Iowa State music alumni to benefit a voice scholarship endowment at the ISU Foundation honoring fellow alumnus Joey Wilgenbusch, who died in 2011.
Argentine Tango Practica Class
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4 - 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better.

Screenprinting Class
Learn an inexpensive way to create custom t-shirts. Using your own design, learn to make a screen with the photographic emulsion method. Bring in your shirts and print away! This class is required in order to use our screenprinting equipment.
