Youth Program: Plant Pals
Join us and cultivate a real garden at Reiman Gardens. We will learn about and grow lots of vegetables, pumpkins, tomatoes and sunflowers, as well as beautiful flowers. Each session has hands-on activities to interact with all the wonderful plants that we enjoy and eat. Classes are great for kids of all ages to participate in with an adult.

Graduates of the TBL Teaching and Learning Circles are invited to participate in the TBL Faculty/Graduate Student/Postdoctoral Fellow Learning Community. We work as teams to optimize application exercises, readiness assurance tests, peer evaluation, and other aspects of course design, and also invite speakers to facilitate discussions of TBL theory, research and classroom application. Audit a course: Fall 2014
Last day to elect to audit a full-semester course for fall. The instructor of the course must approve an audit.
Pass/Not Pass Deadline: Fall 2014
Last day to change a full-semester or first half-semester course from Pass/Not Pass to grade basis without it counting toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.
Tuition and Fee Adjustment
Last day to receive a tuition and fee adjustment for full-semester courses when dropping below full-time status. No refunds for full-semester courses after day 10 of the semester.
Training: "How to Write a P&S Position Description"
University human resources is offering training on "How to Write a Professional and Scientific Position Description" in conjunction with the new PeopleAdmin 7 system training. Anyone who writes or assists with writing position descriptions is encouraged to attend. Training is offered weekly beginning Aug. 26 through Nov. 24. Learn an inexpensive way to create custom t-shirts. Using your own design, learn to make a screen with the photographic emulsion method. Bring in your shirts and print away! This class is required in order to use our screenprinting equipment.
