Holiday Family Photos at Reiman Gardens
Looking for the perfect setting for your holiday family photo? The trees are trimmed, wreaths are hung, and we have scheduled a photographer to capture your special moment. Ngaire West Johnson of IMAGES by Ngaire will be at the Gardens for scheduled sessions. Each session will be ten minutes in the Hughes Conservatory and will provide ample time to capture several poses.

Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

University human resources is offering training on "How to Write a Professional and Scientific Position Description" in conjunction with the new PeopleAdmin 7 system training. Anyone who writes or assists with writing position descriptions is encouraged to attend. Training is offered weekly beginning Aug. 26 through Nov. 24. Do all of this while learning about plant & insect life cycles, & get a behind-the-scenes look at the tropical plants & the new holiday display in the Hughes Conservatory.
