The Nutcracker Ballet
Now in its 34th year, this annual production is the longest-running Nutcracker in Iowa. A cast of over 200 skilled dancers from many central Iowa communities will delight audiences of all ages. This production features choreography by Robert Thomas and Miyoko Kato Thomas of the Dancenter in Ames. Professional principal dancers Joy Voelker Matossian and Matthew Prescott dance the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier.

After America in the Making: John F. Kennedy
N.C. Wyeth's America in the Making depicts 12 dramatic scenes taken from American history beginning with North American explorer Francisco Vasquez de Coronado and ending with Abraham Lincoln. But, what are some of the major American moments of the 20th and 21st centuries? This program will show the film John F. Kennedy: Years of Lightning Days of Drums. Made by the United States Information Agency in 1964 as a memorial tribute.
