Youth Program Training
The offices of risk management, conference planning and management, and ISU Extension and Outreach are offering training to youth program leaders, administrators and student organization officers on ISU's youth-related policies, procedures and forms. Training: "How to Write a P&S Position Description"
University human resources is offering training on "How to Write a Professional and Scientific Position Description" in conjunction with the new PeopleAdmin 7 system training. Anyone who writes or assists with writing position descriptions is encouraged to attend. Training is offered weekly beginning Aug. 26 through Nov. 24. To register, go to AccessPlus (Employee tab > UHR Training) and choose the class you wish to attend.
Beat Diabetes Walk
The Diabetic Education Club (DEC) is a new student club bringing diabetes awareness, education and support to ISU. The club is open to students, faculty, staff and community members. The short walk will begin inside the northeast door of Hoover, cross the skywalk to Howe, and loop back to Hoover. Information about the prevention of type 2 diabetes will be available along the route as well as prize drawings and healthy snacks.

Belly Dance Lessons
