This is a dog-friendly race and competitors are encouraged to bring their canine companions. The California-based MKTO features the talents of actor/musicians Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, who first met in 2010 while filming the Nickelodeon television series Gigantic. Their debut single, "Thank You," was released on YouTube in January 2013 and had over 500,000 views within two days of its release. Their follow-up single, "Classic," was released the following June.
