Open forum: Dean of Students finalist
Jana Schwartz, dean of student affairs at Front Range Community College, Larimer, Colorado, is one of four finalists interviewing for Iowa State's revamped associate vice president/dean of students post.
Cyclone Club Luncheon
Featured speaker is athletics director Jamie Pollard; emceed by Voice of the Cyclones John Walters. Luncheons are open to the public, with an opportunity to ask questions, meet Iowa State head coaches and win prize drawings. An optional lunch, catered by Hy-Vee, is available. Coffee with a Cop
Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department's work on campus. The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community and some community members may feel that officers are unapproachable on the street.
