Getting Started with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Makey Makey
This workshop introduces the basics, pros, and cons of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Makey Makey, three microcontrollers which allow interactions between computers and the physical world. You will get hands-on time to build simple example circuits. All types of kits are available for checkout from Parks Library for continued exploration after the workshop. Register through Learn@ISU. Workshop: Morel mushroom certification
To legally sell morel mushrooms in Iowa, sellers must complete a certification workshop that covers identifying morels and false morels. People can be poisoned by eating mushrooms that are misidentified as morels. By the end of the workshops, participants will recognize true morels from false morels. Register online.
