David Holger, dean of the Graduate College and associate provost for academic programs, is retiring after 40-plus years of service to Iowa State. Remarks will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Farewell reception: Cynthia Jenks
Cynthia Jenks, assistant director of scientific planning at the U.S. Department of Energy's Ames Laboratory, is leaving after 24 years of service. She accepted a position with the USDOE's Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, Illinois.
