Lecture: U.S. Chief Information Officer Steven VanRoekel
Steven VanRoekel is the second Chief Information Officer of the United States and an Iowa State alumnus. Prior to his position at the White House, he worked with USAID, as managing director of the Federal Communications Commission, and in the private sector at Microsoft Corporation. He earned his bachelor's degree in management of information systems. A reception will precede the lecture at 11:30 a.m.
