Awareness training: Youth program staff
Training for departmental/unit youth program leaders, camp directors and administrative assistants who provide support for youth programs. ArtWalk - Artful Cy, The Many Images of Cyclones Across Campus
Iowa State's Cyclone nickname may go back as far as 1895 according to the ISU Alumni Association. Join University Museums as we travel across campus and examine how the Cyclone has influenced many works of art in the Art on Campus Collection. Meet your guide at the south entrance to the Memorial Union.
Belly Dance: Technique to Choreography
Explore the music and movements of the Middle East with Shiara, an accomplished performer, choreographer and instructor, as your guide. Students will learn the foundation movements specifically required to execute the short dance routine that will be taught in class. Please bring a scarf or shawl to tie around your hips and get ready to shake things up this summer!
Intermediate Photography Class
Take your photography to the next level with this four-part class. Building on concepts from Beginner Photography with practical application and further exploration of the tools, mechanics, and process, take creative control of your photographs. Emphasis will be on improving familiarity with manual control of aperture, shutter, lighting and flash. You will need to bring your DSLR camera and a sturdy tripod to class.
