Teleworkshop: Department Chair Intensive: How to Balance Teaching, Research (and Life!) While Transitioning into an Academic Role

Youth Summer Camp 2: Sunlight, Nature's Power Plant

Channel: Reiman Gardens

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm @ Reiman Gardens

Let students enjoy an afternoon outdoors exploring how the sun helps to power our planet. We will engage in hands-on educational activities inside and outside while learning about the energy of the sun, the effects of its light, and how it helps the plants and butterflies at Reiman Gardens! Perfect for ages 11-14. Summer Camp 1 is on Tuesday, June 10, and Summer Camp 3 is on Monday, August 4.

Cost: Cost is $12 for members, $15 for the general public, and Iowa State University students pay 15% off the member price.

FIFA World Cup: Semifinals

Channel: Special Memorial Union programs

3:00 pm @ Multicultural Center, MU

The Memorial Union will host viewings of all 2014 FIFA World Cup matches for free. Matches scheduled before 5pm (Monday-Friday) will be shown in the Multicultural Center, 2nd floor of the MU. Matches scheduled after 5pm & Saturday & Sunday will be shown in the MU Main Lounge (by the Post Office).
