Iowa State's student chapter of the American Meteorological Society is hosting a science fair for first through fifth graders. Students may create a poster or presentation about a science project (does not have to be meteorological) to present before a panel of judges. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place finishes. Register online by April 3.

"Aldo Leopold, A Standard of Change" is a one-man, one-act play written by and starring Jim Pfitzer. Set in one evening in and around the famous Wisconsin Shack that inspired much of his writing, "A Standard of Change" explores the influences and challenges that led Aldo Leopold to penning some of the most important essays in his book "A Sand County Almanac."

Mary Lennox's her parents die in a cholera epidemic and she is sent to live in Yorkshire with relatives she has never met. She is unhappy with everything about her. Then, shortly after she arrives, she notices a vine covered wall which surrounds a secret garden. A bird helps her find the key to the door and the next day she discovers the door itself hidden behind the overgrowth. She pushes open the door and her life begins to change.

The raw and emotive quality of their songs has been known to push crowds to near silence for an entire set.
