This workshop will introduce participants to the basic concepts of text analysis for working with datasets from novels to transcripts as well as some examples of compelling text analysis projects. Participants will also get hands-on experience exploring and visualizing datasets with tools such as Google Books NGram Viewer and Voyant Tools.
