Since 1993, Chris Nelson has served as President of Kemin Industries, a global nutritional ingredient company that improves human and animal health through molecular innovations, and whose products touch 900 million people daily. Nelson, who received his doctorate in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Washington State University, holds 15 patents and has authored numerous peer-reviewed research studies. He serves on the board of the National Institutes of Health, Technical Advisory Committee; the National Forum for Agricultural Executives Council; Drake University College of Business Administration National Advisory Board; and The Greater Des Moines Partnership Executive Committee.
