We study the radiation from accelerated charged particles in a supernova remnant using a nested leaky box model - the "Two Zone Model".
With two different particle spectra established by the two zone model, we explore the leptonic scenario with a hadronic component to reproduce X-ray and TeV gamma-ray spectrum of RX J1713.7-3946 observed by Suzaku and HESS repectively.
After successfully fitting the model spectrum to the observation, we test whether the observed filamentary structure could be formed in a damped magnetic field by integrating synchrotron X-rays from the source zone along the line of sight. We find we do not need a highly enhanced magnetic field all over the SNR to explain the small-scale structures.
