This year's symposium cuts across a variety of disciplines to focus on methodological and statistical challenges faced in conducting health and obesity related research. This includes how human behavior and genomics (metabolomics and nutragenomics in particular) impact health, how the interaction between nutrition and exercise depends on molecular pathways and genetic factors that exert health consequences, and how human and social behaviors mediate these relationships.
