Join the Reiman Gardens' CoHorts' members for a night of dinner, music and plants Friday, August 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the second annual Plant and Garden Art Auction.
The night will feature a BBQ dinner including wine, beer and soda accompanied by live musical entertainment by the group "Sing" featuring Melanie Wright. Along with dinner, guests will be able to take part in a live and silent plant auction during the event, featuring a wide variety of new, rare and unusual plants. There will also be a live and silent garden art auction, featuring some of the original garden gnomes shown at Reiman Gardens. Proceeds from the auction benefit Reiman Gardens' projects.
From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. that night, ticket holders will have access to a pre-sale from the Cohorts' Plant Sale, which is held Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th.
Guests will also have a chance to purchase raffle tickets that night to win a special #32 Fred Hoiberg ISU basketball gnome. These raffle tickets will also be for sale by visiting the front desk at Reiman Gardens prior to the auction August 27. The winner will be revealed the night of the auction.
Preregistration and prepayment are requested on or before August 24 by calling 515-294-2710. The event will be $20 for members and $25 for the general public. Join at any member level and receive the member price of $20.
