Iowa State Concert Bands to Perform October 15 at Ames City Auditorium

The Iowa State University Symphonic Band and Concert Band will present their first concert of the year on Friday, October 15 at 7:30 pm at Ames City Auditorium.



The Symphonic Band, under the direction of William Staub, will perform "First Suite in E-flat" by Gustav Holst, "The Earle of Oxford March" by Gordon Jacob, "Dusk" by Steven Bryant, and "Prelude and Fugue in B-flat Major" by J.S. Bach.



The Concert Band, under the direction of Natalie Steele, will perform "A Longford Legend" by Robert Sheldon, "Night Dances" by Bruce Yurko, "Flourish for Wind Band" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and "El Palamino Noble" by Joseph Compello.



Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students.
