Title: Reinvigorating Public Support for Agricultural and Food Sciences: Crafting the Message Speaker: Dr. Karl M. Glasener-Director of Science Policy, American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, Soil Science Society of America.

Dr. Glasener brings the "voice from the Hill" in describing his efforts in the Tri-‐Societies Science Policy Office where he strives, through education and advocacy activities, to inject science into policy making in order to influence federal funding for and legislation that impacts our sciences. The Societies' Science Policy Office works directly with the White House and Congressional offices to promote legislation, rules, regulations, and funding supportive of the agronomic, crop, and soil sciences.
