A retirement reception will celebrate David's 40 years of service to the music department and Iowa State University.

Dr. David came to Iowa State in 1972 and is a founding member of the Ames Piano Quartet, the resident chamber music ensemble at Iowa State. He holds the rank of University Professor and has been awarded the Regents Faculty Excellence Award.
