I will argue that unusual properties of very popular iron
superconductors can be qualitatively explained if we introduce
non-linear and anharmonic spin fluctuations in their paramagnetic
states. These fluctuations explain the formation of the observed
magnetic ground states of parent compounds, their spin wave excitations
and provide a dominant contribution to the spin-electron coupling,
responsible for the superconductivity.
