The painter Jean-August-Dominique Ingres (1780-1867) gave this advice to his students: ''If I could make musicians out of you all, it would be to your advantage as painters. All harmony is in nature... one has to learn to sing true with the pencil or brush...'' In this 6-week course, we'll discuss the co-relationship of music and art and then practice that harmony by producing music-related art.
