We present the time-domain analysis of the VHE γ-ray emission and the UV emission of Markarian 421 recorded during 2007-2008 by the VERITAS telescope array and the Swift/UVOT telescope, respectively. These datasets form part of a larger multiwavelength study, which included SED analysis and emission modeling (Acciari et al. 2011). However, although for the same observational period very detailed spectral studies of Markarian 421 has been provided in all available wavelengths − see Pittori et al. (2008); Reyes (2008); Donnarumma et al. (2009); Acciari et al. (2009); D'Ammando et al. (2009) − a comprehensive time-domain analysis of these two datasets was not yet been afforded.
