"Advocating an Issue." This workshop reviews effective advocacy techniques for promoting an idea or issue across various political and community contexts.

Ready to Run Iowa is a nonpartisan campaign training program designed to recruit and train women in Iowa to run for elective office, to prepare for appointive office, or to become involved in public life as leaders in their respective communities. Fee includes workshop materials, a parking pass and light refreshments.
