Dr. Jacob Harrison, Director of Orchestral Activities, leads the 80-member ISU Symphony on a trip around the world with music.

Explore the instruments of the orchestra and learn how composers use certain instruments, harmonies, and rhythms to convey their national heritage and 'show' you around their country. Travel to the Far East for a visit to China and maybe learn a Mexican dance on the way home from a European adventure and more. Music makes a wonderful tour guide and can take you anywhere you want to go!

Following the performance, meet the musicians in the lobby for an "instrument petting zoo," an opportunity to see and hear the instruments up close.
