This circle meets for 5 consecutive Fridays: Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Members will examine critical thinking, the NSF-funded CAT test and how we can transform learning at Iowa State.

What exercises can you add to your classroom to build critical thinking skills? How can we best assess critical thinking in our disciplines? How do Iowa State students' Critical Thinking Assessment (CAT) test scores compare to national results?

Facilitators: Mani Mina, senior lecturer in electrical and computer engineering, and Mary Wiedenhoeft, professor of agronomy
