Your act must not contain questionable material and must be suitable for all ages. Remember this is open to the public!
You can sing a capella, off a track or with one keyboard or guitarist. VEISHEA will not be providing a piano.
The song submission for prelims must also be the song for used for finals
No back-up vocals on the track for the performance
You must be an ISU student, in good standing, to perform. You will need to show your student ID when checking in.
You will be assigned a time to perform and a time for sound check. If selected you will be sent this information.
There will be an area behind stage for you to put your coats/items. You can also relax there before you perform.
Please plan on staying backstage during performances. Failing to do so may result in disqualification due to the possibility of distracting the other performers, audience, or judges.
We will have a runner telling performers who is next and who will be up after that.
You will be judged on music ability, use of accompaniment/A capella, and presentation. This includes enthusiasm, stage presence, crowd response, attire.
The audience helps the judges decide, therefore please let your friends and family know so you will have a LOUD cheering section!
