I will be discussing electron mass renormalization in light front quantum electrodynamics. We have shown that the true infrared divergences in $delta m^2$ get eliminated in Light front and Feynman gauge up to fourth order, if one uses the coherent state basis instead of Fock basis to calculate the transition matrix element. This result was then generalized to all order in Light front gauge.
