Get expert hands-on instruction in outdoor container gardening. Horticulture Manager, Sarah Rummery, will demonstrate planting and placement in an outdoor container, and you will have the opportunity to practice on several displays in the Gardens.

Finally you will receive your own 15" x 12" fiber garden container with a variety of summer florae to plant in the workshop. Simply set it in another container when you get home, or break it apart for replanting.

Please bring a pair of gardening gloves and dress to work outdoors!

Preregistration with prepayment is required by Tuesday, May 17. Cost is $44 for members and $55 for the general public. Iowa State University students get 15% off the member rate.
