How do you engage both struggling students and high-performing students in the same classroom? Alexander Stoytchev, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and recipient of the James Huntington Ellis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Introductory Teaching, shares how he motivates his 260-student Digital Logic class to not only attend, but also achieve their personal best scores.

Jokes, popular culture, stories and anecdotes are only the beginning -- Dr. Stoytchev will share his formula for effective lectures, how the principles of "see one, do one, teach one" create deeper learning in his merit-based classroom, and the elegant way he rewards his most engaged students.
