More than 50 Iowa State faculty members will participate as facilitators or judges to provide feedback to presenters and identify the best presentations. For the first time, the best presenters will receive small monetary awards.
Schedule of events:
- 8-9 a.m., Registration and breakfast, Pioneer Room
- 9-9:30 a.m., Opening session, speaker: Derrick Rollins, statistics and chemical and biological engineering, Gallery Room
- 9:30-10:45 a.m., Presentation session I (8 rooms, 3-5 presentations in each)
- 10:45-11 a.m., Break and refreshments, Pioneer Room
- 11 a.m.-noon, Presentation session II (8 rooms, 3 presentations in each)
- Noon-1 p.m., Lunch, speaker: Brent Shanks, chemical and biological engineering, Sun Room
- 1:15-2:15 p.m., Presentation session III (8 rooms, 3 presentations in each)
- 2:15-2:30 p.m., Break and refreshments, Pioneer Room
- 2:30-3:30 p.m., Presentation Session IV (8 rooms, 3-5 presentations in each)
- 3-5 p.m., Poster session, South Ballroom
- 5:30-6:30 p.m., Awards ceremony, Great Hall
