Women's Equality Day
Celebrate the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting women the right to vote. Stop by Catt Hall's Plaza of Heroines to register to vote and enjoy light refreshments and an information booth for students interested in learning more about the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, Margaret Sloss Women's Center and the League of Women Voters of Ames.
Welcome Reception
Annual event celebrating the start of the new academic year. Program at 6:45 p.m. will include presentation of the 2013 Christian Petersen Design Award to ISU alumnus James Patchett, founder and president of Conservation Design Forum.

ISU Youth Program Awareness Training
The Office of Risk Management, University Council, and 4-H Extension and Outreach collectively are holding a training session for youth program leaders and administrators. The training will address youth-related policies, procedures and forms that must be completed to conduct youth programs at Iowa State. Register in advance by emailing the Office of Risk Management at orm@iastate.edu.

ArtWalk - Introducing Coach Bill Bergan and Athletics

Once a year, the Student Activities Center at Iowa State University holds WelcomeFest for students to experience Ames local businesses, community organizations and ISU departments. WelcomeFest attracts over 4,000 students, and 100+ businesses and departments. This event gives you the opportunity to display services, goods and employment opportunities, and welcome students to our community.
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival is a student run improv troupe on campus. They perform in the M-Shop on various Wednesdays during the semester. Grandma Mojo's is the best and cheapest date on campus - admission is only $1!

Paint Your Own Pottery: Cardinal & Gold Night
Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. Pick your piece and illustrate your Cyclone Pride! We will have samples for inspiration but your own ideas are always welcome too. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select. Pottery will be fired within a week for you to pick up.

ISU AfterDark- Michael DuBois
Michael DuBois has been touring the country with his fast paced, audience interactive variety show. He has showcased on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as the Jay Leno Show. He will be performing at 9:00 pm. Doors will open at 8:30 pm. The event is totally FREE!
