Humane Modernism: The Architecture of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson
Ray Calabro, FAIA, a principal with the award-winning design firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (BCJ) in Seattle, Wash., will present the 2016 Charles E. "Chick" Herbert Lecture in Architecture. Calabro's talk, "Humane Modernism: The Architecture of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson," is part of Architecture Premiere 16, the annual celebration of the new academic year in the ISU Department of Architecture.

Building a Future City with LEGO Bricks
This fall 2016 we will house this STEAM workshop taught by faculty and students from Iowa State University's Department of Architecture. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the design process, collaboration and the built environment.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
