Ames Repair Cafe
Drop in to a free Repair Cafe at the Library! Volunteers will help repair broken items to give them a longer life cycle. There is no charge for repairs at the Repair Cafe.

The Ames Seed Library is a community resource that offers free vegetable, flower, fruit and herb seeds in order to empower people to grow their own food and build relationships through gardening. Browse seeds and attend workshops during the Ames Repair Cafe to learn more.

Cyclone Cinema: Mean Girls
Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.
Cyclone Voice w/ Plain White T's
Cyclone Voice is ISU's premier, annual singing competition that highlights the vocal talents of Iowa State students. This year's event will be hosted by Grammy-nominated rock band Plain White T's!

This American classic based on the Salem witch trials of 1692 tells the story of a village that becomes embroiled in a witch hunt. The people of the village live in a constant state of fear as more and more people are accused of witchcraft. "The Crucible" will run in repertory with "John Proctor is the Villain."

Cy's Finals Frenzy
The inaugural "Cy's Finals Frenzy" (April 28-30) promotes healthy study habits and personal wellness for students preparing for final exams. Finals Frenzy opportunities include include study sessions, tutors and Supplemental Instruction leaders on site, quiet and group study rooms, free stress-relief activities including a smash room, Workspace crafts, bowling and more.

Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

Seminar: Circadian clocks, sleep, and aging on the fly
Join this Genetics, Development and Cell Biology seminar to hear Dr. Dae-Sung Hwangbo, assistant professor of genetics from the University of Louisville, discuss research utilizing the fruit fly as a model to understand how environmental factors regulate physiology and behavior, and eventually impact health and aging.
Retirement celebration: Beate Schmittmann
Schmittmann, serving as dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences since April 2012, officially retires from the university on June 30.
