Research Open Forum
Sarah Nusser, vice president for research, is seeking campus input and suggestions for improving research support. Researchers and staff are invited to provide feedback and share ideas. The first set of these open forum meetings for research faculty and staff will focus on pre- and post-award processes.
CODAC Spring Art Sale
Biannual sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts program, sponsored by CODAC (College of Design Art Club). Ceramics, prints, photos, wood items, and paintings will be offered for sale. Most items range from $5 to $150.
Open forum: Director of Admissions finalist
Katharine Johnson Suski, director of admissions at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, is one of three finalists interviewing this month for the position.
PoPS [Products of Public Space] Final Review

Presentations will take place in the Morrill Auditorium, and works will be displayed in the Lower Gallery (0003 Morrill). Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows during the reviews.
Honors poster presentation and reception
Spring and summer University Honors Program graduates, as well as other honors students, will be present to answer questions and speak with individuals about their Honors research projects.

Linguistics researchers who analyze academic discipline-specific language vs. actual writing practices and training for students in those disciplines will present. The intent is to improve pedagogy of writing in STEM disciplines. Faculty and students are invited.

Graduating seniors in graphic design will display their portfolios and work samples at "The Journey is the Destination," the 2014 Graphic Design Senior Portfolio Night. Professionals are encouraged to stop by from 5 to 7 p.m.; the public is invited to view students' work from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
