ISU Theatre production of "A Christmas Carol"
Scrooge as a young boy endured a very lonely childhood which leads him to shut away his feelings and build security through the accumulation of great wealth. In one magical night three ghosts visit him to teach him the lessons of what is more important than money. After viewing the past, the present, and the future, the choice is up to Scrooge as to whether it is ever too late to change.

Release a Butterfly into the Butterfly Wing
Release your very own butterfly into the Butterfly Wing. Each registered person/group will be given their own butterfly, which they will then release into the Wing. For your participation, each person/group will receive a special certificate with their name, the name of their butterfly and the date. Call 515-294-2710 to reserve a butterfly/butterflies. Preregistration is strongly encouraged.
Forestry Club: Christmas tree and wreath sale
Students in the forestry club will sell trees and wreaths for three weekends beginning Nov. 26. Proceeds support club activities.

Poinsettia sales by the ISU Horticulture Club. Many varieties and sizes available. Proceeds of the sale help club members pay for educational trips and speakers, registration at conferences and competitions, and practical hands-on learning.

Exhibition and Performances: "Clearly"
Join University Museums for an interactive installation of music and dance as solid and as ephemeral as glass. The installation of over 100 objects of glass assembled or hanging to produce sound is holding a series of FREE performances Dec. 2-3, 2011 in Brunnier Art Museum.

Each year well over 300 students take part in the ISU Holiday Festival. Participants represent nearly all academic disciplines and majors.

This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better.

Meteorology seniors will present their research symposiums. This year, 18 seniors are completing their undergraduate thesis and making public presentations of their research results.

CODAC Fall Art Sale
Annual fall sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts program, sponsored by several College of Design student organizations. Most items cost $10 - $100. Some proceeds go to the artists, while the rest help fund club activities such as workshops and guest speakers. Continues 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Dec. 8 and Dec. 9.
ArtWalk: Parks Library
Join Dorothy Witter, interpretation specialist, for a tour of the Art on Campus in Parks Library. This semester's ArtWalks focus on the Thousand Words Project, which asks members of the Iowa State Community to re-interpret works of art in the Art on Campus Collection.
