Workshop: Ready to Run Iowa 2013
"Introduction to Iowa Politics." This workshop answers the most common questions about politics and government in Iowa. Topics include an introduction to Iowa party politics and resources, the various types of elected office to consider, and a discussion of women's political status in the state.
Madrigal Dinner
48th annual Madrigal Dinner, presented by the music department. As the guests dine by the illumination of candlelight, they will be royally entertained by the ISU Singers, The Music Men, Musica Antiqua, and the ISU Orchesis II Dancers. Social hour precedes the 6:30 p.m. dinner.
Dance social
Free dance social hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Singles welcome. Dress is casual; indoor shoes or socks are required.

"Little Dresses for Africa" Work Weekend
Simple dresses made out of pillowcases provide relief and hope for the children of Africa. We will provide the supplies, but can use the hands of volunteers to assist with making the dresses.

Take inspiration from Kathy Svec's assemblages in her "Open Book Series" exhibit in the Pioneer Room. Work directly with Kathy in the exhibit space for an afternoon, and get expert help in putting your precious items together in an artistic, meaningful way.

Open mic night gives students the chance to show off their talents to their fellow students. Many are musicians, comedians, and poets. So come on out and show us what kind of talents you have. (Sign Up starts at 7:00 p.m. until all spots are filed)

Kid's Story Time
Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity. The books, crafts and activities are intended for children ages two to seven years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
ClubFest II
ClubFest is an opportunity for students to browse through over 250 clubs and organizations to find out how to GET INVOLVED on campus. Although there are over 800 clubs and orgs on campus, a large sample will have booths with informational hand-outs and giveaways to highlight their club and recruit new members.
