CODAC Fall Art Sale
Second day of annual fall sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts program, sponsored by several College of Design student organizations. Most items cost $10 - $100. Some proceeds go to the artists, while the rest help fund club activities such as workshops and guest speakers. Continues 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Dec. 9.

Michael Clough, ISU curriculum and instruction, will give a 30-minute presentation, "The Story Behind the Science: Bringing Science and Scientists to Life in Postsecondary Science Education," followed by 30 minutes of discussion and networking. Reception will honor President Geoffroy, who is stepping down as ISU president in January. The event will include a receiving line, a program at 4:30 p.m. and refreshments throughout.

Congressman Ron Paul is a physician, congressman, and presidential candidate from the state of Texas. A Republican, he has represented Texas's 14th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1997 and previously served as the representative from Texas's 22nd district in 1976 and from 1979 to 1985. He serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Financial Services Committee.

Scrooge as a young boy endured a very lonely childhood which leads him to shut away his feelings and build security through the accumulation of great wealth. In one magical night three ghosts visit him to teach him the lessons of what is more important than money. After viewing the past, the present, and the future, the choice is up to Scrooge as to whether it is ever too late to change.

A film by North Adams native Nancy Kelly, Downside Up is about the tentative, dangerous notion of hope in a city widely viewed as hopeless.
