Open forum: Animal science department chair finalist
Andre-Denis Wright, professor of animal science at the University of Vermont, will discuss his leadership style and vision for the department. He is one of three candidates interviewing for the position.
Research conference: Graduate and Professional Student Senate
The Graduate and Professional Student Senate's first student research conference will include poster displays, research presentations, a three-minute thesis competition and keynote by Stephen Gilbert, assistant professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering. Blended Learning Brown-Bag Roundtable: "At a distance" student assessment
The use of new technologies has changed the distance education paradigm and complicated methods used to assess student learning. These changes, along with a cultural climate more accepting of cheating and added market pressures, require a reevaluation of student assessment. Learn what is being done to ensure the academic integrity of assessments delivered to distance education students.
