Recognition ceremony: 2015 Exemplary Faculty Mentors
This spring marks the second time the provost's office will recognize a group of faculty mentors. A reception follows (4:30-5:30 p.m.).
Photographic Exposure Class
This is a 4 week course on Wednesdays beginning May 6, May 13, May 20, and May 27 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Go in-depth with professional photographer and instructor Mark Stoltenberg, to understand just what exposure is and how adjusting it will alter your photographs, for a variety of desired effects. Learn to master manual control of the lightness and the darkness of an image, even when your camera suggests something different.

National Public Gardens Day

Nanovaccine Initiative Seminar
"Endothelin Axis and Pancreatic Tumor Microenvironment," Maneesh Jain, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. Jain will discuss how the components of endothelin axis are expressed in various cellular compartments of pancreatic tumor microenvironment (TME), and the impact of targeting endothelin axis on pancreatic TME in genetically engineered animal models. A reception precedes the seminar at 12:40 p.m.
Plant Sale Extravaganza
The Plant Sale Extravaganza will be held in Reiman Gardens' parking lot rain or shine. As a member perk, Reiman Gardens' members can purchase plants before the public on Friday, May 8th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The sale will open to the public on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
