Stash the Trash is a volunteer effort that brings students and community members together to help clean up the Ames community and assist homeowners with yard work. The event is organized by the ISU Student Activities Center and the Volunteer Center of Story County. Volunteers can choose to work alone, with a group of people, or with an organization. Joshua Farley, Ecological Economist and Professor at the University of Vermont, will give a keynote presentation on agroecology, farmer livelihoods and ecosystem services in Brazil's Atlantic Forest.
