Embracing the Arts and Crafts Movement in the Midwest
The Arts and Crafts movement began in England in the mid-19th century and crossed the Atlantic to America in the late 19th and early 20th century, where it would evolve into a uniquely American style of design which became a hallmark of that time. This tour will examine the history of the style and how the Farm House Museum has been recently renovated to better depict the style of this moment in time at Iowa State.

Art Walk: A Celebration of the Artist Priscilla Sage
Join University Museums in welcoming artist Priscilla Sage to campus to celebrate her contributions to the Art on Campus Collection and to the campus aesthetic. Starting with Forest Flora and Knoll Garden, we will journey across campus to view and discuss her public art at Iowa State.
Artful Yoga
This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. This month we will focus on the relationship between the environment and movement. Please arrive early for a discussion on the month's topic beginning at 5:15. The practice will begin at 5:30. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat.

The Changing Iowa Landscape
This Earth Day, learn about some of the factors that have contributed to the changing Iowa landscape over the past 100 year. Please join Drs. Mark Hanna and Amy Kaleita, faculty in Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, as they discuss the evolution of hay and forage production and harvest, the changing land, and soil and water conservation practices. These issues have impacted Iowa hay and forage production over the past 50 to 100 years.
