Lecture: Behind the Scenes

"Fountains and Water Features" Join staff each month for an interactive, behind the scenes look at Reiman Gardens. Each month you will learn interesting facts, and see many things not typically open to the public. Come each month to learn more about Reiman Gardens and its many plants and butterflies.

C.A.K.E. (Crafts, Arts, Knitting, and Everything Else)

C.A.K.E. is a time for you to come relax and take part in some crafty activities that you enjoy or time to try some new craft such as knitting, jewelry making, scrap-booking, or just coloring.

No poetry or writing background required-perfect for beginners and those wishing to improve their grasp of the form.

Mark Stoltenberg is back to teach a four part workshop covering the basics of macro flower and insect photography. Topics include equipment and how to use it, depth of field, aperture, light, composition, finding your subject, and tips and tricks. Each class is broken into 3 parts: classroom discussion, hands-on practice taking pictures by the students, and review of the images taken.
